Season 1.0 - The Rez As I Saw It - April 3-19

<- Back

Does poverty breed hate? Or is it the opposite? On the Suquamish Indian Reservation life as a white kid is often dangerous--and sometimes deadly. Caleb Penn’s powerful new play gives us an intimate look at what he went through as a child of poverty, forced to live in a town of people who hated the color of his skin. Shootings were a daily occurrence, meth could be detected in the eyes of far too many friends, and caught in the middle of all of it all were the people and relationships that make up this rarely discussed thread within the fabric of American society.

Directed by Zac Eckstein
